If there are two diastereomers a cis and a trans form, and if the trans form has an enantiomeric pair assosciated with it can the cis form be called a meso form as well? Sources please.

You could have combinations of all, but the cis and trans forms are different molecules. Think of a case where the chiral carbons and the cis-trans center are 30 carbons apart. You could have meso trans and meso cis, but they would be different and have different properties.
