In impractical terms you have a few options:

Genius: what has been described as "a mind of large general powers accidentally decided to one direction." They are capable in most fields, excellent in many, but the overall excellence is in one discipline alone.

Philosopher: this tends to be a naturally well-rounded brain as well, but its interests are not as specific. The large general powers of the philosopher are never decided to any direction besides restrospection upon itself. Like the genius, the philosopher of weight and high-caliber are born not only with efficient mental faculties, but a tendency to work well linguistically, logically, artistically and mathematically.

Jack-of-all-trades: this tends to be a person with mere talent and a sponge-like brain. They will appear to be highly competent in every field but their abilities quickly top out and will never reach an apex. They are a balance of memory and cognition, which once again, a person is born with.

What great thinkers are capable of doing is concentrating. There appears to be an almost psychotic focus on a task that brings about the solution through patience, if nothing else. So what you generally need are concentration and staying-power, and a true interest in every aspect of life around you.

Well! one cannot be excellent in every field because u just cannot work in every field one has to choose his field according to his capacity and interest.
I think your question is how to be excellent in everything one does in day-to-day life.Well! there is no person on earth who doesn't make mistake but the people who learn from their mistakes and make sure they don't repeat that do better than others.
Recognise your strength and weaknesses. Work on your weaknesses and do what you can do best. Always believe in yourself and be confident.

One hardly can be excellent in every field. But use %100 effort, know your weaknesses and strengths. Act accordingly. Thus you can be one step near to excellent.

The answer should be obvious, you can't be good at everything, just focus on what your strengths are and give your best in those areas. Everyone has weaknesses, things they're not good at. It's best not to worry too much about those things, but you can always try to improve. Even if you never improve, it doesn't really matter because you'll always have something you're good at. If you focus too much on what you can't do, you'll feel down all the time. But if you focus on what you CAN do, you can use those things to your advantage and be more successful in life. Best of luck to you. ;)

Just do it (as a major sports company would say) but beware of the snakes in the long grass.

You can't.
Nobody's perfect
We are only human, our knowledge is not the same as GOD.
Only GOD knows everything.
