I would answer this very EXTREME question by saying that you and your fellows have nothing to fear ... why would ideas, discourse, and dissent cause you fear?

By being intolerent of anyone who questions or disagrees with this government, you are undermining the very fabric of what it means to be free and American.

I simply do not understand the fascination that conservative, right-wing extremists have with liberal celebrities. Nor why the word "liberal" has been hijacked by your kind and made into a dirty word.

Webster's defines liberal as such: "a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties."

With all that is going wrong in America --- lack of a decent working wage, immigration problems, the overweight problem, Katrina, lack of port security, the sell-out to big business, lack of health care -- you folks worry about Barbra Streisand and her air conditioning.

You and your ilk are what is "undermining the very fabric of American life."

The ACLU takes causes that are violations of the constitution, not their personal beliefs! They also give the poor access to the courts, which I know people like you think they should not have! Only those rich enough to hire a lawyer!

90% of abortions are done in the first trimester! Late abortions are usually done for medical reasons, like the life of the mother, which you think is less important than a fetus!
