Well there are a lot of people with different views. Some who have the capability to understand both sides, Whilst there are others who just follow the media as a bandwagon. I do say terrorist are bad people, What drives them to do all the crap? Its stupid if you point your finger at religion without any knowledge.
Terrorism is there all over the world, If some say U.S.A is pure and clean .... Hate to burst your dream world and bring you back to reality .... http://www.missionislam.com/conissues/motherofallterrorists.htm

i don't think true.i think people are more educated about Muslims since 9/11. 9/11 hit us hard and hurt us badly, we know the difference between the sick and twisted radicals, and the peaceful Muslims who would not hurt anyone or anything. 9/11 was heartbreaking and we were devastated. maybe Americans blamed all Muslims at that time, but as time went by realized there is a difference between sick extremists, and Muslims who only want peace in the world like we do. we Americans want peace for all countries.

This question comes up over and over again on radio, television, the Internet, etc. The answer is always pretty much the same:
Most Americans don't hate Muslim people. They may wonder why Muslim people have in many cases been quite silent when it comes to condemning the actions of extremists, but they don't hate Muslim people who are not extremists. I can't speak for all Americans, but I don't see a Muslim person as a threat when I meet one somewhere.
It is, however, natural that when all the extremists have been Muslim that Muslim people may be viewed with a little reservation. That may be crummy for them, but it is what their fellow Muslims (extremists or otherwise) have created in many American minds. During World War II Americans locked up Japanese Americans because of things like Pearl Harbor. Innocent people of any group do "pay" in some ways for the actions of others in their group. Its unfortunate, but its human nature.
Look at all the innocent Americans someone decided to kill on September 11, 2001, because they weren't interested in going after someone who did anything to them; but just wanted to get any Americans in general - and that's what they got. They lumped Americans all under one category and acted on that.
Well, that's what some Americans may do when it comes to Muslims, and maybe its crummy; but in view of what has gone on, its probably going to be a reality for a while. People look back on what was done to Japanese Americans and think about how horrible it was, but at the time it may have seemed like there was little choice in view of what was going on with Japan. I'm not defending this kind of stuff, just explaining why - awful as it can at times be - people have to try to understand it.
There is a group of people claiming to be acting on behalf of their Muslim beliefs (among other things), and they aren't doing any favors for American Muslims who aren't extremists. Hard as this may be to say, maybe for now what Muslims have to do is take off the outfits that give away who they are, put on some outfits that don't call so much attention to themselves, and be a part of the American culture that someone apparently thinks they should have acceptance in.
I know they can't do that because of their religious beliefs, so - I guess as Christianity teaches - they need to understand and forgive anyone who doesn't quite feel they can trust Muslim people right now. Its a crummy thing, but its what happens when someone crashes planes into buildings in the name of your religion/culture.
Many, many, Americans don't have a shred of hate in them (for anybody). The country has been scarred - very scarred - by what has happened. You can see that in the tears that showed up on all the anniversary programs that have been on over the last couple of days. The people who have been victimized are Americans, and the people who need to be given some understanding and a chance if they commit some relatively minor offense by not being all that comfortable with Muslin people are Americans.
I am sure there are Muslim Americans who understand completely and who overlook. I'm honestly and sincerely sorry that things may be as they are for Muslims in this country these days. I'm sure in time the situation will improve. For now, though, Americans aren't being rude or feeling threatened; they're just scarred and shouldn't be blamed or assumed in need of enlightenment.

I don't hate muslims. I hate terrorists. It just happened that the terrorists on 9/11 were muslim - but I do not hate all muslims for the act of a few bad ones. I judge each person for their individual merits, not based upon a group they belong to anyway. Nor do I judge a group based upon the merits of a few of its members.

I do not hate muslims. I have to say though that when I see an Arab open a business i think wish you would go home, and I do not come back. why cuz Arabs have really bad manners in my experience. Haughty, arrogant and not compassionate, or very concerned with the quality of his product. Not because Arabs object to our unfair trade practices and object by blowing up what I see as a military target in from what I can glean from history is a provoked war.

We are more wary. Islamic terrorist look mideaster so we look at Mideasterners more closely. We trusted the terrorist that commited the 911 and they came into the country on false pretenses.. America used to be a nation that trusted people until they proved otherwise.
