How interesting of you to ask that question. I ask a similar question when I first started on Yahoo Answers. It was my second question actually. I tend to think that having a good memory could be an indicator of success but it can also keep a person in emotional turmoil, especially if the person has been through several traumatic events. Have also seen people with exceptional memories that do mundane jobs.

no, success is what you do, and how well you do it. having a good memory is just a skill and a talent that most people have, and you can be a successful person with a bad memory or you can be a unsuccessful person with a good memory. the second one is much worst and that states memory isn't really the most important.

A combination of many qualities make a person successful. Good memory is one of them. It is a handy tool. It adds to your confidence on your brain. Good memory places you ahead of your competitiors. By the time, they search their diaries or memo books for some number, and you come out with your memory, you make a 'mark' on the situation. Others feel dependable on you - as most of us relate Good memory with a sharp brain. But certainly it is not 'the only' quality required to be successful. One requires lot more than Good Memory to be successful.

Not really...

When henry ford was tested on what he remembered about his automobiles empire.. it was found that he couldn't remember most of the details about what sort of engines they were using etc etc...

But it did not matter.. cos Henry remembered and knew who to look for to answer all the questions.

Successful people may not have very good memories but they certainly would have such talents around them to leverage upon if good memory was an important factor in their success ;)

I dont think so

A strong memory just mean that the area in your brain that control your memory is active and strong. But it doesn't mean the analystic ability of oneself

Succussful is depend on many factors, the most determine factor is timing, strong interpersonal skill, and your preparation to the future ~~..................!!!

Strong memory is one of the factor but not most important~!!
