First of all, great spelling and even better English.
Second, the Chargers are suppose to beat teams in the lower basement of the NFL power rankings.
Third, it is only week one for god's sake - calm down, to much can happen on the negative side before you start talking on this B.S. about the Chargers heading to the Super Bowl.
They would loose half their offense if L.T. was to go down - so keep your cool and your fingers crossed that does not happen.
Fourth- I think the young QB Rivers looked OK. They did not have him do to much, they didn't count on him to win the game for them, they just wanted him to get comfortable out there and not screw things up - so for his first NFL start he did OK and did his part.
The Chargers will be OK this year, but they need to find some punch in the defense - blanking Oakland even on the road this season is not that big of a deal. Oakland has a good chance of going 0-16, 1-15 and a good college team could take them!

Yes, oakland is a joke. But how can any of you say that Rivers wasn't impressive. They only had him pass 11 times for christ's sake. When he did pass he was near perfect, the recievers never had to break stride even when Sapp was in his face. He was impressive in his limited role. As far as the defense needing punch? What the fuc# are you smoking! Did you watch the 9 sack game? The chargers had the #1 run defense last year, and they've only improved so far this year.
