I don't understand how you could possibly presume to know the mind of God.

I'm glad that instead of just believing the words of the people around you, you had the courage to put the question out there to the diverse public. Good job.

I don't believe that g-d makes mistakes. Some people are born with a missing arm or an extra toe or 1 of millions of different looking characteristics. G-d gave the peson a challenge to overcome. Sometimes g-d gives a person the challenge of being born in the wrong gender. We should applaud the people who have the courage to go through the torture of overcoming the challenge with painful operations and heartbreaking sociatal respnses. If it is heaven or hell that you believe in, their actions towards others will decide thier place. After all, does g-d become angered when women decide they don't like the hair color they were born with, Or that they want to pierce their bodies to hang jewelry, or they don't like the hair that g-d put on their legs so they shave it off?

Thanks for asking

Again and again in the Christian story prophets came and told people that the essence of religion was to feed the hungry, care for the orphans, to clothe the naked, to release the captives.. even Jesus has a lot to say about healing, including the outcasts.
Yet, again and again, we waste our time arguing about who is in and who is out of heaven instead of doing what we have been told to do... loving one another. If God is keeping points then an hour at the soup kitchen is 10 and limited Gods love and dominion by judgement is a -5.

Don't forget that God created man and woman naked, and they were not ashamed of their nakedness until Adam took a bit from the forbidden fruit, whence they began to wear clothes.

The clothes are designed and created by Mankind, and they have decided which clothing is suitable for which gender. If a man decides to wear clothing that his own race has decided is for the opposite sex, then that is nothing to do with God.

Besides, if men wearing skirts are transvestites, then why do women wear trousers, which are supposedly "male" clothes?

please quit assuming the role of God and passing judgment on others...that is a sin! only God has that right. and since God created and loves us all, and He makes no mistakes, I know that I am going to heaven, thank you very much.
quit using religion to justify your bigotry....hatred and intolerance are neither family nor Christian values.
do you people even know what the Bible really does say...and doesn't say about homosexuals? try reading it through without taking things out of context.

Do you think people who judge others stand a chance of going to heaven?

Isn't there something in the Bible that condemns that very thing... judge not lest ye be judged, or something?

Also, doesn't one of the Commandments say
"Thou shalt not make nasty posts on ye Web site forums"???

Hmmm considering the supposed bunch that will be there...You know, those who judge others based on their clothing, whom they love, and all the rest... why would they want to go?

ROFLMAO! Even if there was the remote chance the mythology was true you can be sure people like you won't be there anyway.

Actually, I do appreciate the sex God gave me. I'm a homosexual male. I'm not effemenate (although people who are certainly don't bother me) and fully embrace my 'manhood.'
If you ask me, I don't think God is pleased with those who are judgmental. Have you read the Bible? There are only a few scriptures that make any kind of vague reference to homosexuality (albeit, not how it is understood today) and there are countless scriptures that come straight from the mouth of Christ that teach us not to judge others.

Do you judge yourself as harshly as you judge others? You must be pretty hard on yourself, bud! Everyone has their own path in life. Not everything is understood on earth, but that doesn't mean people of differences are not worth accepting. LOVE is acceptance! LOVE is the only true commandment.

I'm not very religious, but people say that god doesn't make mistakes, so gay people were obviously meant to be here. I'm personally very happy to be gay, besides the world doesn't need more people reproducing, we've got enough orphanages and starving children as it is.

But there are gay people who believe in God too. I know two lesbian women who are pastors at christian churches.

Yes, definitely, it's hard to know the struggles and feelings these people have, I believe God really loves them though.
