walking would be the cheapest... you really gotta do your research

bus- cheaper, but really long and horrible

plane- more expensive, but you'll get there faster.

take the plusliner NICE bus KL - Singapore. or any other bus, the fare is pretty much the same, as long as you buy from the person behind the counter and not the people haggling in the corridor. Or, if you don't mind the hassle of going up and down the bus for immigration checks, you could take the bus to JB(Larkin bus station) and take another bus to singapore from there (the fare from JB to Singapore is approx. RM2.40).

But on your way back, it's better to take the bus from Singapore to JB (S$2.40) and take the bus back to KL from JB. coz they charge you in S$ from Singapore - KL, and it's more expensive.

you could check out http://www.plusliner.com for the bus time tables.

Bus direct from SIN to KL from Golden Mile complex if you would prefer easy travel. However, price will be on steeper side... probably ard S$35 if i rem correctly...

Cheaper way of travel will be taking either the SBS bus thru the causeway and then continue from the checkpoint to Larkin interchange (note the signboard on the bus that it goes to Larkin and not elsewhere!=p) from Larkin, there are many bus companies that run to KL in abt 4-5 hrs... bus freq is like every hour or so... usually immediate departure is even available! price range think is about RM24 on a 24 or 26seater coach...quite comfy :)

Deifnitely by bus. The cheapest bus fare from KL to S'pore is around RM30 per trip. If you like to have a luxury coach, it easily cost you RM70+. Bus route will take you 5 hrs from station to station. The bus is available in every 30min... so convenience!

Bus, it takes about 4 to 5 hours. Train also is cheap but it'll take about 8 to 12 hours. There's a lot of bus in the Puduraya bus station.

By bus for sure...

(TIPS: If u are not in hurry and for saving, i advise you to go from Johor Bahru (Malaysia) to Kuala Lumpur, since from Singapore to Johor Baharu is just a short distance. This is because, the fare from JB to KL will be in Ringgit Malaysia while Spore to KL will be in Singapore Dollars.)

By air. Air Asia offers cheap tickets, the click is like this, the earlier you book ya tix, the cheaper tix they have. There's no direct flight to Singapore at the moment (by AirAsia) , so the best way is to fly from KL to Johor Bharu(JB), and from JB, there are shuttle buses to S'pore.

If i'm not mistaken, the airfare is RM29.99.
