anywhere outside the sanctity of my own bathroom. In an emergency, I'll use a friend's/relative's bathroom, otherwise I'll either hold it or go home, if at all possible. I know I'm not the only one with this "affliction". How far or long have you traveled to go home to relieve yourself or how long have you "held it"?

Public washrooms are the most disgusting thing on earth. Yuuukkk....I would rather go in the woods under a tree then in some of the washrooms out there. Besides that I always keep hand sanitizer in the car, in my bag at work.... Its proofen that most illnesses are transmitted through picking up viruses and bacteria .... I am no germ freak like big pro_steering says on top. But just disgusted by the lack of hygiene and the dirty habits of some folks. I share your "affliction"

Holding it is unhealthy. I don't have the problem, but a friend we used to travel with would rent a hotel room just to go.!

I will try and avoid going in another person's private bathroom, but I will go in public bathroom if I really have to.

Actually, I find it exciting to defecate in new and different places. Why hold it- when you can crouch in back alleys, holes in shrubberies and steamy outhouses. The sights.. the sounds.. the smells...mmmmmmm

You are not alone...but you really should work on it. I mean, everyone poops so what's the big deal about going away from home?? Some people take pride in their pooping everywhere they go...I think they are freaks, but whatever!!
