Very personal decision.
There are people attracted by risk, others by safety. I do not know how you are.
My recommendation would be to follow your instincts, taking into account the following
- how would you feel if ,in a year from now, know that the person who took the job is happy, making more money. Would you feel very bad, blaming yourself for not having taken the opportunity or would you think "at least I did not take a risk"?
- how would you feel in the opposite situation: you take the job and you do not like it. Would you think "well, at least I took the risk...I am making more money...and always I can ue this one to look for another one" or "I should have stayed"?
- A very important question is what job gives you the best oportunity in the mid term.
Are any of them family owned? Promotions opportunities would be fewer in those.
Bigger the company more opportunities will arise., etc.

I took some decisions like this that did not result in what I expected.
However, I say today that, in the same situation and with the same information, I would do the same. I always thought that I could not resist thinking that I did not the courage...
I am inclined to take a risk, if I believe that I could be better, but I do not blame myself (well, not very often) if it goes wrong.
But that is me. You could be different and it's also right.
Whatever you decide, do not look behind.

I would opt to stay where you are as the first step. As a second step, it's important to notify the other interviewer of the reason you will not be attending the interview, and to do it with honesty, maturity and tact. Remember, you may one day want to re-apply to that other place. What you do today and how you handle it, may have long term affects on your image.

And I think you should tell them that you found a job right now that you'd like to dedicate yourself to - make sure you don't downgrade your current job or give an impression that you might be in any way dissatisfied with it. How you represent your current position and your desire to do well, tells the interviewer something about you and how you may regard their company if you ever join them.

You're very lucky to have had these two good opportunities, therefore worth the effort to establish yourself as a valuable asset to one and a potentially future valuable asset to the other.

I have been through this, and the only thing that helped me make a decision was to literally write down a list. Divide a paper into two columns, "Pro" and "Con". Do this for each position separately, then compare the results side by side. You will see a pattern that will lean you in the right direction. If there is a tie, then add more features of each job, or take the best compensation. Benefits are definitely worth $ and are considered part of salary, so add up the benefits in a value form when you consider the final outcome. Best wishes to you!

I am in the same situation too, but I will go for the sure one, where I am now, in here, i am secure and sure that i do enjoy my job, no rosk, no frills.
You must be so adventurous to try the other one but, you must do it discreetly if possible, try not to be absent for work on your current job. It would not hurt to try the offer but think it over if it is worth the risk.
Happiness obviously counts with the money too i.e. higher pay and more benefits...but so does to how you would like the job.
For me, I prefer to stay in a new job. Too much for finding if I am settled, I might lost what I have now if I risk on the other one.
Sooner or later, you might get more monetary benefits if the company is satisfied with you, it'll show if you like the job.
Good luck.

One is being happy with your work. If, you make more money and are unhappy that not good. Money is not everything.
Other things to consider is how easy it is to get to work. I had a better paying job offer once. The company was in the middle of Dallas, Texas, a lot of Traffic to and from work. I took the lower paying job offer as it was on the West side of Fort Worth, Texas and was very easy to get to.

Go to the interview for the second company, so that you will never wonder "what if?."
You might find that you do not like the second job. It is worth the effort since the second job pays more.
It would be a bad sign, if after working for about a week, if you did not like your current job. (You are still in the honeymoon phase)
..........People tend to be nicer to you, especially if they are your supervisor, because you are making their check larger for them.
Best Wishes!

I am in the same boat with you actually. In my case, I do not like my current job working hours and the pay cos it seems like I have to spend my salary on the job so that I could continue working. However, I like my job and environment is nice. But I have decided to move on to better pay and I don't know what are the prospects there. Kinda feel regretful. My advice to you is do what you think is right and have not regrets!
