a GL's powers are limited only by his will power and imagenation, and he needs to recharge in a day or so. Silver surfers powers are only limited by how much cosmic power he was given they will never run out and he can do what ever he wants with then. It would be a good right but i would say the surfer would win. Although i like the green lantern and think he is way underrated and could take out superman easy i also think the silver surfer could also and i think he had more powers.

Lets see Green Lantern's powers are all in his ring. Without the ring, he's only an ordinary mortal man. Also, the ring needs to be recharged on a regular basis.
As for the the Silver Surfer, He gets his power & Powers directly from cosmic radiation, which is everywhere and always "ON". Also, the Surfer, is also immortal too.
Even if they both sat around doing absolutely nothing but watched toons on tv all day for the next 60 years. The surfer would win, coz the green lantern would simply die from old age.

Silver Surfer - although he will not want to win, he will. Lantern has limited power, SSurfer draws upon much more. (Galatctus may take an interest in the conflict , and advance unthinkable energies)
I'd be more interested in what the Red Witch could do. Better yet, how would Phoenix deal with these puny males?
Super powers, or supernatural powers? Usually works out to whoever gets in the first cheap shot, gets an advantage.

IF GL didn't have to stop to recharge, I think he might win. If Galactus got involved, the Guardians would have to step in. If Galactus was able to make a force field around Earth that the surfboard could not penetrate (that was how SS was trapped on Earth for so many years) then Green Lantern could figure out how to do that, too. Norrin would not be helpless, separated from his board, but he would be a lot less mobile and agile in combat. After all, he can't fly without it! The Ring is a more flexible weapon, it was DESIGNED primarily as a weapon, and as a transportation device secondly; the surfboard is solely and primarily a weapon. Norrin could do a 'move-through' (In Champions parlance) on GL, but that would be it. His ring would automatically act to save him from life-threatening injuries.
