IT'S BETTER TO SEE A DOCTOR, BUT READ ON THIS MIGHT BE THE ONE:
As carpal tunnel syndrome is to the hand, tarsal tunnel syndrome is to the foot. The posterior tibial nerve (the large nerve that goes to the foot) becomes entrapped near the inside of the ankle. The posterior tibial nerve lies within compartments containing tendons, arteries and veins. Overlying these structures is a ligament that is responsible for the compression or entrapment. When the nerve becomes entrapped, one may experience pain, burning, tingling and pins/needle sensations on the sole of the foot. Often this pain increases as the day progresses. Various causes have been attributed to tarsal tunnel syndrome including soft tissue masses, flat feet, trauma, diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis. Conservative treatment should always be attempted first using anti-inflammatories, rest, orthotics, immobilization and physical therapy. If conservative methods fail, then surgical treatment may be necessary.

hey
it sounds like a circulation issue.
Do you sleep with a body pillow or with your legs elevated?
Even in a seated position this might happen.

What happens if you change beds...or move your mattress to the floor?

It doesn't sound emergent...but it doesn't sound good.
Like anyone else here, I would strongly urge a visit to a doctor.

best of health to you...

I would be interested in knowing the outcome...

You could have a blood circulation problem. You need to go to the doctor and explain these syptoms. You need to make sure there isn't any severe clotting.

arthritis. talk to your doctor before it gets worse....
two months?? should have gone after about a week. this isnt normal.... are you sleeping with weight on your legs? pillows, dog who sleeps in the bed with you?? this could also be a cause.

Please please PLEASE go see a specialist in this field...See THREE of them for 3 opinions.... The specialist you'd look for would be a neurologist, diabetes, dermotogist, FIrst, (since this happens every single day!) you should go to the E.R. and ask them...letting them run blood tests, etc., and asking them for the names of 3 different specials (not recommendations or referrals, but just the NAMES for you to call.) Then, go see the FIRST one who has an opening! But, you MUST not put this off!
Blessings to you!

Please get yourself to the doctor asap and get a complete check up.
You are too young to be having these kind of health problems.
