I looked on google for you and found a really nice website for formal dresses.

I went into the site and on the first page the dresses are a bit form-fitting but still in good taste ( not cheap but maybe just a bit too sexy ??? ) .
BUT !
Over on the left hand side of the page is a list of different makers of prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses. - all those dresses looked REALLY NICE.
The dresses shown on the main page of the site were a bit expensive BUT on the list of various dress designers on the left of the site's page I found some really nice dresses around one hundred dollars..
Go to the bridesmaid section and click on:
mori lee
I thought the dresses by mori lee were ladylike and sexy at the same time.
This website says that they are the company with the biggest selection nation-wide of formal dresses and they have free shipping too.
And their dresses come in sizes from 0 to 40 and each dress comes in MANY colors to chose from
and I looked at their customer service section - it looked good and in that section you can also find their toll free number for questions etc.

Do your wear formals??? or Dressie Dresses?? Suits--our school wears suits.... BUT if you need a foo-foo type look on Ebay.. or try Chadwick's they have some CLASSY formals--- Congratulations on being chosen for homecoming court...... I was there Twice.. actually, try your local department store like dillards, robinsons may, nordstroms, etc.
because
1. you get to try it on first..
2. you can ask what other girls have been buying so you don't show up with a big puffy dress and everyelse is wearing short skinny dresses...
and
3. they have sales. my daughter bought a BEAUTIFUL dress today at dillards for $16, it is usually a $70 dress.! woo hoo!
