i hope it is .we as humanity as a whole must come to the realization that the only way we can survive in the future is by all moving in the same direction, not necessary one nation under god ,because freedom of religion is paramont amongst man,but working as a people to improve ourselves as a whole, until we can overcome our fear of one another we will continue to rip each other apart

It's been done. It was desired to run railroad tracks through some dirt that was at the time part of Mexico. The land got bought, and the railroad got built. Look up Gadsden Purchase for details. Nowadays, most people like the boundaries that exist; there are, of course exceptions. The boundary between the Czech Republic and Slovakia was of relatively recent creation.

You are contemplating on a situation may be 500 years away when all countries in this world are prosperous and there is no poverty, illiteracy, and ill health on Earth. When every one has all that he needs no one wants to forcibly snatch from others. Countries borders become insignificant and there will be no requirement of visa. This is pipe dream today. I am not sure if it will ever be possible unless what I said above comes true.

I don't know how to answer that question other than to declare that you are a total moron and in dire need of remedial history schooling.
It will always be important to have national boundaries. People will always be different, and everyone should have the right of self governance. Who's going to be in control of a one world government?-someone with a completely different set of values than your own- from a whole different culture. And that person or group of persons is going to be in control of the whole world? what do you think is going to happen? Use your head, idiot.

they are actually trying to move in that direction .... it makes sense on paper. to dissolve a hard "boundry" line and instead have an economic "region" without a border can make things more prosperous for the region ... the problem arises when those that are controlling the region seize control of the whole works and exploit it and the former people and govt of the sovereign state no longer have the power to change things because they have handed over power to the regional govt ...
