philosophynerd,
I can't answer because I wouldn't want the Muslims to bomb it. I'm being serious.
I guess I can give you a general answer, I belong to the 'out-called-ones' of Jesus Christ.
I can't put into words how grateful I am to be a part of that. What a blessing.

I don't belong to any "organized" church.
I was not raised with any formal religious background and my mother was truly concerned about religious "cults" when I was growing up. So, we simply didn't attend any church with any kind of regularity.
Personally, I feel this had a lot to do with how I view "organized Churches."
I know my heart, I know my personal beliefs and my faith. I feel I have a very personal relationship with "God" (or whatever) but I simply cannot appreciate the idea of being force-fed anyone else's idea of religion.
But if I had to choose, I think I'd feel most comfortable with American Episcopal Church.
My family has a close friend who is an Episcopal Priest. Most of my extended family are all Catholic, but my Aunt and Uncle lived across the street from Father Bill when I was a kid. He and his wife were always part of our family celebrations, holidays, birthdays, weddings...and most recently...and tragically...funerals.
Father Bill was the first priest who defened gays when one of my cousins started a huge argument about gays parenting. This was before I had come out to most of my family. Father Bill defended the rights of gays to not only raise chidlren, but to marry as well.

I'm non-denominational. Currently I attend an Assemblies of God church (although you wouldn't know it was an AG church unless someone told you. I went there for a couple years before I found out.) I just recently found out about the United Church of Christ however (which is mostly open and accepting of homosexuals) and might have to give a UCC church a try.

Born Catholic, raised Catholic, sent to Catholic schools...
Couldn't understand why they would preach one thing and then do the exact opposite.
(read Roald Dahl's autobiography - he had the same feelings)
Decided organised religion was not my thing BEFORE realising I was gay (but that just confirmed it.... not really any place for me there)
Still believe in God or a higher being but don't believe anything from the Bible in a literal sense.
So I guess I don't belong to any church which doesn't mean I'm less deserving. It gives me the freedom to worship as I see fit, to question everything in order to seek answers, and most importantly my money is safe.
Amen!

Metropolitan Community Churches are full of self loving LGBT people who accept their sexuality as a gift from God. To find the one near you visit: www.mccchurch.org
There are also many other churches who are primarily straight but 'include' LGBT people, such as Open and Affirming Churches of the United Church of Christ...

Ummm...no church is a good church. They're all full of hypocrites. (the christian churches anyway, talk about acceptance and being non-judgemental) Somehow most of the Christians I know never read about that.
