Ludwig (the mechanical violin playing egg) - thought for many years that perhaps I only dreamt it, until I discovered that either other people had the same dream of weird ovoid things as I, or it really happened.
Other than that Dr Who, with Tom Baker - I think it was the whole thing of a grown man, in a silly scarf, saving the galaxy and eating jelly babies - it made a big impression on us as kids.

Twizzle in the late 50s or early 60s. As far as I can remember it was a puppet like person who had arms and legs that could extend to get him out of trouble. I also liked the Lone Ranger with Tonto and 'a hearty Hi Ho Silver' (or something like that). We had lots of cowboys and indian series on in the UK during the late 50s and early 60s. I liked Cheyenne Bodie and Bronco Lane.

I want to say "Land of Lost" but the truth is if you asked me when I was actually a kid, I would have replied either "H.R. Puffinstuff" or the lamest of all kids show "The News Zoo Review" (ARG!!!)
Something about those Go-Go boots on Emmy Jo that made my little heart flutter, and also because Freddy the Frog turned me gay.
LOL
