Well, the equation is
LxW=5acres.
Depends on those two.
If the plot is 1 furlong long, then it must be 5 chain in width. (An acre is 1 chain by 1 furlong)

An acre is 43,560 square feet, or 1/640th of a square mile. (Ask Google for "1 acre in square feet".) Multiply that by 5 for 217,800 square feet. If you take the square root of that, it'll be 466.7 feet per side.

For round numbers, break 217,800 down into factors: divide by 100, 2, 3, etc until you get reasonable numbers to reassemble. 363 feet by 600 feet is a good answer.

A standard rectangular area equal to one acre (in Pakistan and India) is 264 ft long, 165 ft wide i.e. 43560 square ft.
Total area of 5 acres is, thus, 217800 sft. The dimensions can vary according to the place.
Well assuming that the area in question is exactly square, one side of 5 acre plot shall be 466.7 ft, and that of 1 acre area shall be 208.7 ft.

Depends on the shape of the 5 acres.

One acre is 200' x 200'. It would all depend on how the property is laid out. Some are square, rectangular or just odd shapes. But if it was square it would be 1000' x 1000'.

If its square... take the square root of (5x43, 560)
