I think celebrities get off way to easily with a slap on the wrist? Anyone else have a comment on this?

Celebrity Paris Hilton was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence early Thursday after "driving erratically" and failing a field sobriety test, police said.
She was pulled over in Hollywood about 12:30 a.m.
"She exhibited the symptoms of intoxication,"
"It's her first offense and hopefully it will never happen again."

It's about time...she has been in several drunk driving incidents/crashes even though she wasn't always driving. If I was a citizen of CA, I'd be complaining big time to my state lawmakers- these drunk celebrities are endangering the lives of other people and this should not be tolerated- I don't care who you are or what your celebrity status is.

i'm a touch dissatisfied to be honest. it type of appears like she's no longer going to get punished in any respect. Celebrities shouldn't get particular remedy. so some distance as Paris Hilton is in contact i might want to be happpy to bypass something else of my existence with out listening to about her.

Nothing. She's human and not the first person I heard has been arrested for DUI.
