i don't think so. 20-20 is fun cricket and we cannot judge a player by 20-20 performance. Generally the 20-20 match is exclusively for the batsmen and the bowlers do really get lost in the match. For example; players like Dravid, Mohammed Yousuf, Stephen Fleming and many others are good cricketers but their performance may be not as good in 20-20 cricket.
Nowadays a 20-20 cricket match is included in every series bcos it is fun to watch and very exciting where hitters such as Shahid Afridi, Gilchrist, Symonds, Abdul Razzaq, Dhoni show a bit of excitement.
20-20 is not considered as a typical ODI. I prefer ODI bcos it is interesting to see both the batsmen and bowlers performing.

Once 20-20 becomes permanent, test matches will ahve to be reduced to 3 or 4 day feature. It is more fun than actual cricket. May be more useful for teams like Ireland or Scotland who can not play the full 50 overs game.

20-20 cricket is certainly exciting but i won't rate it better than one-dayers. Cricket is not a bang bang game only, its about lovely ground strokes, technique, patience and twists which occur during the game and i don't think that 20-20 fulfills these requirements. Therefore one day cricket will always score over 20-20, although it takes at lot more time.
People who are bussy will go for 20-20, while pure cricket fans would prefer one dayer.

20-20 cricket is altogether useless and is going to harm the basics of cricket. If you see it, you would come to know that no technique is required as such. Batsmen come, play shots (any damn shots, which are no more in text books or usually played) and move on.
I personally feel this should be eliminated altogether. You really do not love watching it.
It is not at all better than 50 over matches. The thrill is missing.

It makes the game more crazy and doom for professionals for some time and when more tactics come in to 20-20 Game it might turn Intresting after 5 to 6 years.

if you think that 20-20 cricket is better then you could opt for base ball rather than that of cricket

its ridicolous and certainly not cricket anyways...its just a way of making more money and commercializing the game...no serious cricket lover can ever like it..n i believe theat 20-20 records will never be seriously taken by the players themselves even

While 20-20 will be a good entertainer for the spectactors, it will be very hard for the Team and players and they will not get any time to settle down.
