I am not really sure of what you are asking, but vacationing locally, (say here in U.S) supports our local US economy.

If you plan a trip abroad, you will be risking any terrorist attacks, lots of waiting in airports, possible luggage searches and much higher costs.

Gas prices on the the decline, consider doing something here in the U.S.
