The offer is the same expat package and almost the same level of competitive salary, the only difference is tax free with M.E. and with tax in Canada, of course culture is different between the 2 countries. Your thoughts and comments will be highly appreciated.

Canada is better for it does not restrict in whatever way your personal activities.

I would go with Canada... I'm American, and I think the cultural differences between the ME and the West are so great I would prefer to stay somewhere more culturally compatible with what I am used to...

i'm working in the middle east right now and enjoying the privilege of earning much from what i had in my own country. i left my family to work here. everything here is ok. however, there are differences in culture, society, norms, and religious beliefs for which i had to get along with. i can call it "sacrifices", sometimes it fits, but sometimes it doesnt. if given the opportunity to work with the same level of salary, i'm going to choose a place which have a closer link with my culture, norms, and beliefs. i hope you got my point, regards!
