why are some celebraties so dumb especially on politics

They're living in a World of theIr own, SOME OF THEM, NOT ALL, and have very little concern and knowledge of the World events taking place around them. It's not just Celebrities, it's other folks too, besides, they're just folk like everybody else...you give them the title, 'CELEBRITY'.
The Governor of California is not dumb.

Most of their time has been spent grooming for their role in life, being a celebrity, so their education has been trashed. Brooke Shields & Jody Foster are just 2 off-hand that I can think of that went to college let alone finish high school.

Because they get sucked into "Hollyweird". The land of liberals and (amazingly so) closed-mindedness.
I swear there is some vortex in LA that sucks up actors and spits out some brain washed dimwit
