to the gas company's that we are all paying to much for gasoline,, they did this in london,, do you think americans all across the country ( say we all did this ) could prove to the oil/gas companies that we wont take it any more,, ( like going on strike against them all,,) SO my question would you stop where ever you are at on a certain date and time no matter where u are at like they did in london,,,, ( that is if we all did it together)

i would... if people wouldn't buy gas for 1-2 days, the price would go down so much, because the supply would exceed the demand by such a high percentage, then they would have to lower the price per gallon.... and maybe take some of their retirement away.

This sounds like disorganized chaos. The people who would be hurt the most are emergency vehicles, working folks, and school buses. If you don't want to pay gas companies, stop using engines. Nobody is forcing you to do anything you don't want to do. Blocking the highway is just going to hurt the American people. In fact people will probably buy more gas while waiting for authorities to remove your car. If that is what you want to accomplish, then maybe your onto something.

It didn't work there and it wouldn't work here. How does it effect the oil companies; by telling them what they already know...people don't like paying $3:00 a gallon for gas...
CHECK THIS OUT watch for fuel prices to come down as the Republicans prepare for midterm election. Not that the Republicans control gas prices, but rather as the oil companies try to help their Republican candidates by creating the illusion that the economy is getting better and relief is on it's way.

i know you don't want to hear this but gas is STILL CHEAP!just call any service station in canada and ask the litre price then multiply that by 3.8 and you will see how cheap it is! we are a free enterprise economy and if you want FREE fuel buy a diesel and use used cooking oil from one of the thousands of deep fryers that get emptied every day and cost the resturant owner to get hauled off-look up grease car on net ,this is no joke FREE fuel for the asking.people are NOT going to give up gas for even a minute, look at the lines from 1973. So instead of trying to change rich ,lazy ,apathetic America why don't YOU change to used cooking oil and put those PETRO-DOLLARS in YOUR pocket!!!

Right decision but stopping in the middle of a highway is dangerous.

No, I'd pull off to the side of the road so that neither my car or I get hurt.

No, I would not.
We are not paying enough for gasoline. This increase in price is the only thing spurring development of alternatives that are long overdue. I'm no "greenie", btw, I just cant stand that lack of progress due simply to "barrier to entry" costs.
