There have already been several foiled. Look at the attempt to blow up planes from England.
For the terrorists to succeed all we have to do is fail once.
To guarantee terrorists fail, we must succeed 100% of the time. Clinton didn't have that good a batting average with Monica.
So to answer your question, yes, I think an attack will occur. I doubt it will involve commercial aircraft but there are other ways. And the results could easily be as bad as 9/11.

Like 9/11? No - it is unlikely that Al-Qaeda could succeed a 2nd time with a plan like that. However, we will see more large-scale terrorist attacks: there are simply too many targets and too many holes in security to guard against any possible attack.

Well, they tried it a month ago, in Britain. Yes, I think there will be, but I hope it is caught, as the one was, and others might have been, but was reported.
I get severe Panic Attacks, before something SEVERE happens, so when I have one, I will let ya know! It is scary, as I am no psychic, but it just happens more than once in my life!
