Need help with homework :(

i have to find a word for each root that uses most of the letters in the root.

ex: audio -hear ; [audi]tion ; the act or sense of hearing

so need one for caedo - kill, one for iaceo - lie/rest, and one for jacio, jactus, or sometimes it has an i in the front (ijacio, ijactus) - which means throw

Caedo
kill
Suicide, matricide, regicide http://www2.hawaii.edu/~jjudd/gre/rootlist.htm

(it's not exact, but it is the root - English is different than Latin, so our final words don't "fit" exactly with the root - but you get the idea "cide" = caedo)

jac, ject - to throw reject, eject, project, trajectory, interject, dejected, inject, ejaculate

interjacent - lying between: A pharmacy stood on one corner of the short block, a grocery store on the other; on the interjacent lot a small office building was being constructed. Also: interjacence, interjacency. [inter (prep. w/ acc.) - among, between; interiaceo, interiacere, interiacui - to lie among or between] DON'T FORGET ADJACENT http://www.geocities.com/gene_moutoux/pageIi.htm

HTH.

Oh yeah, I beat the first guy with my response :)

jactus - eject, still working on the others
caedo - suicide, homicide, etc.
iaceo - adjacent
I won't mark the part of the word for you because you need to be doing something for yourself. If you can't figure it out, look up the etymology of the word or check out the site below.
