is it true that when you wake up in the morning is the best time to do a pregnancy test or does it not matter what time?

Yes that is true because your urine will have higher amounts of the hormone that the test is trying to detect. It doesn't mean that it won't detect it anytime of the day, but always a better chance if you take it in the morning.

Most tests tell you that you can use them any time of the day, but your first urine of the morning has the highest concentration of HCG, the pregnancy hormone that the test reacts to.

The pregnancy hormone is stronger in the morning becuase you haven't drank anything to dilute your urine. If you are a few days late for your period it really shouldnt matter because the hormone is easier to detect the further along you are.

it's true that in the morning you'll get the best reading... but I got the same reading in the middle of day as well. In the morning the urine is very rich in all those components... so yeah, the stuff will show right away

It is said that the highest concentration of the pregnancy hormone can be found in the first morning sample because it has been sitting for longer. Hope that helps.

Earlier in the pregnany its better to test with the first morning urine because its more concentrated... but after a few weeks late I don't see it making much of a difference

It is best to do them in the morning but if you read the instructions most say you don't have to do it in the morning.

i don't think it matters , i took one in the evening, but it could
matter on how many weeks you are, im not sure.
