My brother and I are independent filmmakers. We have complete creative control over all our projects (including feature films, shorts, and concert performances). We write, cast, produce, direct, shoot, and edit all our own work. The best experience you can obtain in being a filmmaker is just to watch a diversity of films in every genre, from all around the world. You can learn just as much from watching a "bad" film, as you can by watching a good film. Then you have to put everything you've learned into practice. Filmmaking is not for the faint of heart, or for those who don't want to accept difficult challenges, or aren't talented when it comes to problem solving. You learn how to be resourceful, especially when your working on a shoe string budget. Producer yes of course. It only needs a million or two to make a medium quality movie. Director definitely needs a past experience

Nowadays people watch anything and everything , So u dont need script or good direction , just half dozens of good songs by Himesh , and some funny scenes by Yashpal or Boman , There you go - u are done ,
Every week atleast couple of movies get released .
Just Do you best - You can do anything .
