I dont start trouble and luckily havent had problems myself but when I see people picking on others, it ticks me off. Usually, it ends up being the same kids and I think it must make them miserable. Sometimes I'll have something to say and so far nobodys come after me (so far LOL).

It seems a lot easier to tell someone how to handle it then to really have to deal with it.

I've been bullied before. I learned how to deal with it though. You deal with the situation very very directly. Don't show weakness. In my situation I was surprised to find out how weak my bullies were, I think my situation was rare, I easily 'defeated' them. My main point is deal with the problem.

edit: of course you want to deal with the problem as peacefully as possible. with certain types of people it's difficult to do that though.

Well, when I was in HS, I transfered schools and thought his school would be better than my last one. BIg mistake. There were a lot of native americans there and the girls used to hang out in big groups and intimidate other girls.. My friend and I were one of them.. My friend and I were pretty blonde haired girls that looked like twins and others were always confused with who was who..So I think they were jealous. Anyhow, when my friend and I walked down the hall, they came up and yelled down at us SCRAP and woudl start running so we ran away out of the hall way. Rumor had it that if you were caught in the bathroom when they were there and they didn't like you they would push your head in the toilet. An aquaintance of mine, a pretty and nice girl got into a fight with one of them and the native pulled out chunks of her hair out and it was all on the floor and her shirt had almost been torn off. It was horrifying.. I only spent half a semester there and so in the summer I did 100 laps in the pool everyday. The following Fall I joined the track and field teama dn kicked butt. Two of them sisters came up to me and asked me if I could train them. And I had no idea how I got so good so I said sorry that I didn't know how I did it.. and it was funny.. And then I had to go to art class in the beginning of the year and it was the first day of school. When I walked into the art room, there were 4 long desks. All the white people were sitting and filled 3 of them with no chairs available at all. And the only single chair left was the one right smack in the middle of the native desk. So I walked oveer there with a gruff face and tried to act tough. And I was- so I thought. And I looked at all of them in the eye. I started to date a native guy who was very handson and I thought OMG this is a reason for getting mmy head bashe din.. But since I was friends with the sisters, and one of the sisters sat beside me in art, and becasue I was being respected fomr the other girls at the table it was working. they liked me. They liked my art and it wasn't awesome but it made the curious becasue I was so creative I think. And they would ask me about it and I actually had a lot of fun at that table. And Everyone liked me.. The word passed on that I was indeed cool and no one touche dme afterall. And all of them signed my year book and we actually went and met them at parties fomr time to time. It was a fun time after that mess went away.
You can take what you like fomr this story.. Maybe many things.. Be yourself.. don't woose out.. stand up for yourself.. confront them. BUt don't be rude.. just be yourself. And enjoy being empowered.

Just always stand you grand With them , and don't ever let them see you cry , and if they try to hit you just stand there , and do nothing by doing nothing they will get intimidated by you , and then they will be running from you.
