I have a question.
A while back i presented an idea for a movie where all the Bonds worked together (the actors) in a kind of ultimate James Bond movie.
A friend of mine told me tonight that there is truth to my theory. That in "On her Majesty's secret service" it says that James Bond is an alius. is this true? if so then my movie idea of multi bonds could happen.

well to answer the guy who asked who would play bond,, thats easy
they would play Bond... Conery, Moore, Lazenby, Dalton, Brosnona nd maybe the new guy.
But the idea we came up with is that one of them gets in trouble somehow and they all have a connection to the enemy so to save the day they must all work together.

To be honest, I don't know if this idea would work, because all of the James Bonds are meant to be a single person: James Bond, the one and only. You see different actors because the movie studio needed to replace the actor playing James Bond to keep the franchise going for the last 40 years. It wouldn't look cool to see Sean Connery, the great actor that he is, at his advanced age walk up to a "Bond Babe" and get her attention, let alone beat up a couple dozen bad guys.

Seems to me that you could get around this question, and not anger the Bond purists this way.....
What if the latest Bond (the new guy) was sent by M to a film set as a consultant on a movie ABOUT 007. This way, Bond could be Bond, Brosnan could PLAY Bond in the "movie", and you could have the others play additional agents (006, 008, 009, etc.) who start actually getting killed by a secret organization to stop the production......for whatever reason.
That way, you get everyone in the flick, have multiple "00"'s, but still only one "real" Bond.

James Bond is a fictional character.
Your idea of an ultimate Bond movie is great.
I would like to see all the actors who played Bond, together in an Ultimate James Bond movie.
The question is: Who'll play Bond and who'll play villain?

My best guess that "James Bond" is more like a job prescription rather than a name. The production teams over the years themselves have made the continuity of the movies so.
For a movie idea - maybe some scenes of the "James Bonds retirement home".

"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" starred George Lazenby. Nowhere in there does it say that James Bond is an alias. He takes an alias, but he does that in many films.
The current "new" Bond film is "Casino Royale". Don't know what the plot/details are there.

How about a "North by Northwest" type story where someone is mistaken for Bond, and the other Bonds have to save him from the bad guys?

that will cost the producers a lot of money for talent fees and what abwt the billing?hu will come first?
