It is safe the whole 9 months as long as the doctor gives you the green light. If you have labor contractions he would advise you against intercourse/Orgasms. But as long as things progress normally...than fine. You can make love and do what ever up til the time of birth; or until you get uncomfortable where you can't or don't feel like having sex. The second trimester is the best time for sex. The last trimest is of course the most uncomfortable because of the size of the belly and swelling of feet, etc. You have to play that by ear. You could loose you sex drive there. You more likely to want sex in your first and second trimester and part of your last. The 8th and 9th month for most women in general are just to uncomfortable. But some can go up to the time of birth? But also listen to the doctor to. Hope this helps.

I don't have much of a libido anymore, but I did go through a period where I wanted it ALL the time. I'm sure my fiance would like to go back to that. lol Some women exerience really heightened sexual desire all through pregnancy, others experience no sex drive what so ever during pregnancy, while others (like me) are sort of inbetween, or go through phases. All of them are perfectly normal.
As for having orgasms all the time, that won't matter one bit. It just gently "rocks" the baby and doesn't cause any harm to it what so ever. You could have multiple orgasms a day and it won't make a difference. Some women have reported having multiple orgasms for the first time while pregnant. So if you're pregnant, or thinking about getting pregnant, have at it. Unless of course your doctor advises otherwise. Good luck and have fun! =)

Some people lose their sex drive, other people's sex drive heightens. It's definatley safe to have an orgasm. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. If your doctor has said your pregnancy is a high risk one, make sure you talk to him about whether or not you should have sex. If everything is going normally, now is not the time to stop having fun!

Orgasms are totally safe during pregnancy.
As for sex drive...in my first trimester and the first part of my second trimester I didn't have to have anything to do with sex, but the last part of the pregnancy that is all that I wanted. I know it is different with each woman though.

Personally, my doctor said it was safe to have sex while prego. I wasnt high-risk or anything. So we enjoyed a higher sex drive my entire pregnancy. I had orgasms, but true orgasms tighten your uterus, which can hurt when you are prego. Orgasms still felt good, but after sex, i would have tight pain in my abdomen. Nothing major, I just needed a rest afterward. Our daughter was born perfectly healthy, but 2 weeks early. Sex kick-started my labor! Just check with your doc, its not safe for all women to have sex during pregnancy, or late in pregnancy.

My sex drive went crazy when I was pregnant. Orgasms never hurt me. I was a little bit careful during the first trimester and then I went to town. And it's beneficial in a lot of ways to keep up relations when you are pregnant (relaxes you, eases back aches, get's rid of stress). You go girl.

When I was pregnant I didnt want to have sex at all. And about the orgasms its ok in early pregnancy but once in your third trimester it can make you go into preterm labor!

Knock yourself out. You're not going to harm yourself or your baby with an orgasm. As to sex drive, like many things, each pregnancy is different, so it's difficult to make a blanket statement.
Blessings on you and your baby.

Some people lose it... some people it increases...it all depends on the person and the stage in their pregnancy. I have never personally heard about a lot of orgasms being unsafe but the best person to ask is your Dr
