Does anyone know a website where you can talk (confidentialy) on the website to someone about depression, or anything like that?
I just went into the 10th grade (I'm 16) and it's overwhelming, my classes suck completly and girls are ALREADY spreading rumors about me, I don't know what the **** I can do.
Know I have to read an entire book called Great expectations and it has to be done by tommorow afternoon, which leaves me with simply (about) 10 hours to read it and I don't think I can and I don't know any website where I can find a good summary or spark notes on it (and they'd have to be good because I'm having a test on it tomm)
It just seems like everything i thought I could really handle is falling apart and that I just can't pull it off.
I'm just so confused with evything right now and I don't know what to do and I know suicide isn't sensible but it feels like it's the only thing that's going to help quiet things.
Does anyone feel like this? I just wanna run

The only place you should be running to is to your guidance counsellor. It's not too late to get some of your classes changed -- and don't take no for an answer. Perhaps your classes are just too demanding mentally and emotionally and time-wise for you right now. This is what guidance counsellors are for. Tell them how overwhelmed you feel and how frustrated you are feeling. Try to get (and enlist the help of your parents if possible) your classes switched to less intense levels. Changing some of your classes may also help rid you of those immature gossips that are making you so miserable right now. I know it's hard to ignore what they say but you have no control over that -- you only have control over how you react to it.
As for Great Expectations, go to the class as early as possible and tell the teacher that you are are unprepared and that you would like a pass to go see the guidance counselor about some schedule changes. Be honest. The teachers aren't there to pass you or flunk you, they are there to teach you and will, hopefully, do everything possible to help you learn at the pace that is comfortable for you.
Good luck, feel better, run toward the future with hope

It is just one test. You will just have to chalk this one up to "what happens when I don't do what I need to do". Buckle down and try to do better on the next one. Tenth grade can be pretty rough. The other kids can be total jerks. There is nothing that is too hard too handle. Running away from things only creates bigger problems. I am just one person with his own opinions. Everyone handles pressure differently. Try and do better next time. Don't let one test be the major dumping ground in your life.

You need to stop worrying about what the "girls" are saying about you number one. They are either jealous of you or just don't know you. You should feel good about yourself and think about your future, those people won't be a fleeting thought after you get out of school.
Just relax and let life happen. If you need to talk to someone online in a chat room, go to Lucinda Bassetts Anxiety and Depression site. You will find people there you can talk to.

This website helped me: www.reachout.com.au. It's an Australian website, so some of the material might be a little unusable for you, but it's still very helpful.
