I don't know if people actually come back to read this ****, but no, it doesn't really matter if he is or isn't, I guess. I was just curious. I happen to be native myself, and I was just wondering what was going on on the TV with all that. So yeah...

His father was Native American and his mother was Irish. Gary Busey himself said that he is only one eighth Native American. I found both answers on the same site.

Gary Busey is half Native American and half Irish.
Born to a Native American father and an Irish mother, Gary Busey grew up in Oklahoma (Note: on "I'm With Busey" Gary Busey has said that he's only one-eighth Native American.) He is an alcoholic and I imagine that accounts for a lot of the trouble he has found himself in over the years; and his abrasive personality.

LOL, he looks whiter than white!! I don't think he's native american, it was just him trying to show off his spiritual side. I can barely understand what he's talking about with them freaky huge white teeth!
He makes me laugh though, I don't think anybody could take him seriously...
