For the record, I AM NOT TRANSGENDER MYSELF. To those who are, please don't ask me questions pertaining to that because I would be of little use. What I really want to know is how far would you go for love? Would you find it easier to forgive her for cheating on you than decieving you about her true gender?

Because I am old and set in my ways I will NOT accept a relationship with anyone who lies to me, be it cheating or lying about their past. A sex change is not important to me. If they are honest up front, that is what is important, not their plumbing.

Son, you gatta get back ta them roots someshow. You can't be southern and still be too acceptin of weird folk like that. You can be nice and she8, but you gotta at least bring your shot-gun and a bootknife with ya when you do it or somthin for extra protection. P.s. I know your mama would want me to tell you this if you gonna mess with them weird folk. Make sure you where a condom, son. I mean, even if, you'r not havin sex. You can't be too protective of Mr. Willy around all them city folk. Oh yea, and some more P.S. about you gettin involved with that northern B.S. I was tellin cusin jed just the other day about how I heard that a meteor can travel at 75,000 earls an hour. You see Our cusin Earl likes eatin beans right from the can. An Earl per second, is a messurement of the time and distance it takes from when you see that funny look on cousin earls face until when you hear those dying moose sounds comin from the outhouse. I would have a difficult time accepting the person for two reasons:
1. The person is a liar,having begun a relationship deceptively.
2. I would not consider the guy a "her." This is just my opinion, but no matter what someone's mindset it, lopping bits off and taking drugs does not change your gender any more than chopping a person's right arm off turns them into a natural left-hander. I believe that if you have two X chromosomes you're female, and if you have an XY pair you're male, and the rest is just surgery and mindset.
That said, I feel it must be terribly troubling for someone who feels trapped in a body they feel is of the wrong gender. I just think that surgical mutilation and hormone therapy is not the answer any more than the answr to wanting to be 3 inches shorter is to chop off one's feet. Wouldn't it be more rational to use counseling to help the person come to terms withthe body they have, rather than assist them in destroying it to rebuild it to match a perception that differs from outward appearance?

Personally, I would find it easier to forgive her for cheating than lying about her true gender. Being cheated on is generally an isolated incident, while lying about someone's gender is something that would have gone on since the beginning of the relationship.
That aside. If you know of someone in that predicament, chances are they are at least with somebody who is open minded about that kind of stuff.

hey this is a couple of questions... but they both deal with the same issue "Trust"... i would still accept her for the person she is and it depends if this was before or after sex/being intimate if i would continue to see her in a relationship a meaner.
and between cheating and being transgendered same its trust... especially in this era of AIDS pandemic...

no never ever ever thats just disgusting for starters i wouldnt get out the shower and just keep getting the filth of me that is disgusting noone in their right mind cud forgive this its worse than any crime!
as for forgiveness, never, love doesnt even come into the equation when u find out sumthing like this im sure even love automatically turns off u cant luv people like that

No, definitally NOT as a Her, and nolonger as a girlfriend/wife as it would be an unholy mariage.
And not as a close friend.
I would have to let them know that God loves them and that he would want them to live as the Gender they where born into.
