We have been dating for 18 months now and still, he refuses to talk to me about his problems, or let me know what he's thinking about when something is really bugging him. This drives me nuts! He's never been given a reason to not trust me!

I don't think it's a matter of trust a lot of guys just DON"T talk. They don't feel comfortable or whatever. Just tell him it's driving you crazy and that it really bothers you. If he's not willing to talk then I think you should move on. If you want a guy that will talk you need to find a new man.

Men are a mystery. It is likely that he is not thinking about much at all! Even if he did tell you what he was thinking about, how would you know he was telling the truth? Men are good at going into their shells and sorting out their own problems.
Really, accept that they are different creatures.

18mths might seems long enough for you to think he shd share everything abt him but sometimes it takes even longer time to really open up someone's heart to let them able to share everything with u

sometimes, these ppl r more comfortable n so used to solving things by themselves

sometimes these ppl think tat one person wori n troubled by the matter is better than making others wori too

everything takes time, maybe u dun ask him directly but thru communicating, slowly u can catch bit by bit from here n there

all the best!!!

Sometimes guys tend to bottle there feelings and when something big happens they blow up and are mad about stuff that happened years ago along with the stuff that just happened. This isn't good for them but they do it any way. try to talk to him let him know how you feel just try to be there for him.

Usually, it's because there's NOTHING going on in his head. Most men are not as verbal as women, and they don't even mentally articulate what bothers them or plan out in words what they think and feel.

Just act like you think you know what's going on and be sympathetic. He'll think he told you and be quite happy.

I'm the same way, you need to be patient with him. Lead by example, tell him your problems, thoughts, feelings, well basically be as open as you can be. I'm sure he'll come around. I did.

Men don't talk like women do...it's just a fact of life. There is no other reason...don't take it personal.

Everything isnt that easy to share with someone all the time. Just let him know youre there for him should he decide to tell you. I know it sucks but, what can you do?

If you aren't part of the solution, that means you are part of the problem. Stop asking him. If he wants to talk, he will. If not, let it go.

Men and women communicate differently.... Seek some couples workshops to learn how to communicate on a joint level...
