Adriano is at the moment out of form. I remember when he was nobody at inter(too many world class striker: Ronaldo, viery, then crespo) Adriano then transfer to AC Parma, he works very hard just to make sure he will be in the world cup squad to play alongside with ronaldo.
From then on he was on fire, top scorer for parma then inter bring him back to the squad. He was absolutely great, probably the best forward in the world at that time. He was injured and not yet 100% fit
but his coach Roberto Mancini, would still play him because of his magic touch for inter. But what happened after that he was losing his super touch simply out of form. He might be back to be the super Adriano(known as Emperor in san siro).
So Yes, at the moment Adriano was overrated(he is way out of form).

I doubt that my answers/ opinions matters to you anymore but I still wanna say that Adriano is one of brasil's best players on the national team. Whenever he's on the pitch, you can except great things. Just this world cup Brasil was kinda out of it. But still good. Anyways, I think you should reconsider Adriano b/c if anything, he's under-rated.

Yes, I think so. I've watched him play with Inter and I've heard some extraordinary things about him, but I don't think he is good enough to deserve all that. I've seen him play last season and he seemed to be slow, lazy, playing without the right spirit, he doesn't seem like a Brazilian player. All Brazilian players enjoy football, laugh etc. He plays football like he is obliged to do that.
I think Parreira should make Robinho play in steed of Adriano, what is that obsession to make players that don't play good enough, play just because of their name.

ARE YOU JOKING?? Adriano is perfect for the team. Have you seen him play?? His kicks are so powerful and he knows how to finish a game up. Amazing in Inter. Not over-rated at ALL. He's one of the best on the team. How can you say you've not been impressed...he's brasilian for crying out loud so he's got to be good.

Absolutely. I was just talking about this very topic with a friend, and he asked me who I thought was overrated, I immediately said Adriano. I totally agree with you.
