Cayman Islands- my girlfriend and I walked from one end to the other. (7-10 miles?-maybe more) On the one side of the island.
There was now transportation at 4 am, however we did encounter the local police-he said "The only way I can give you a ride, is to arrest you." We walked!!

I covered 11 miles on the metroparks walking path in the valley. From Lakewood all the way to the Brookpark Bridge. Felt great about myself after.

When I was in Switzerland, we hiked 12 miles up to a ski hostel place in the Alps, where we stayed overnight and hiked back the next day. It was in July, so we had ski suits & snow up high, and bikinis & swimming (although cold!) further down the valley in the sun. It was spectacular!
