My kitty, Punkin' Head has some very strange habits since she was born.. they seemed to calm down , but now that my boyfriend is away for a long period of time, she is acting out again!
First, She is obsessive about knocking things off tables or or shelves.... if I am sleeping and she wants me awake she will keep pushing things onto the floor until I get up! Also she has never Meow'd.. her mouth opens but nothing but a raspy dry little sound comes out. ... the most challenging behavior she has had since My boyfriend left is she acts as if she is punishing me when I get home from work.. she stalks me but wont let me touch her, she bites me even sometimes... which she never did before. She follows me everywhere and if I dont let her in the bathroom with me she pounds on the door! she insists that I watch her when she eats.. and watches to make sure I watch... I love her very much I have had her since I got divorced four years ago but I need to know what can make her normal

thanks for all the answers and just to add some answers to the questions some of you had, she is a four year old calico, Absolutely beautiful and charming.. and even some of her strange behavior is charming at times.. but really inconveinent at other times... I can tolerate the annoyances but Im wondering if Ive emotionally hurt her by having things change too much, like boyfriends leaving and roomates changing and working nights.. I just want her to be happy.. and fear that these are signs that she might not be as happy anymore.

I believe that some of Punkin` Heads behavior, indicates that she is spoiled, and Sassy, but that`s "okay" quite typical of most kitties. It`s the stalking, and not letting you touch her,or even biting you at times that makes one wonder, if she has worms, or something that`s, annoying her as well, what does her Vet think? also, does she have a hearing problem? since she seem to have some speech impediment with her meows, I`ll bet she`s the cutest sweety pie ever, Sure hope someone has some helpful answers to make it all better for you,and Punkin `Head. take care.

I had a similar situation and tried to get to the bottom of it through procuring a kitten for companionship, even if it did not paintings so nicely. the unique cat change into too jealous and doesn't settle for the kitten. have you ever tried protecting the radio tuned to some soothing track or to a more beneficial mellow communicate radio station so she has something or someone to take heed to once you at the prompt are not domicile? And ditto on the a lot of cuddles and soothing communicate once you're domicile. Does she have a powerful smooth cat mattress? Our cats love their beds. strong success!

my friend has a cat like that. all cats have strange tendencies. it could have something to do with the type of cat she is, is she still considered to be a baby...that could have something to do with it too.
