You are dreaming. You just don't remember it. I have been in a similar situation. In fact, I am now on long term disability due to stress and anxiety. Part of the problem may be the quality of sleep or lack of sleep you have. Stress does that. I suggest going to see you physician first and maybe a psychologist if needed. Don't put it off. I did and now I'm worse off than if I would have paid heed to those initial warning signs.
Another factor is "do you have sleep apnea?". I do and before cpap, I never entered deep sleep. This had an effect on how many dreams I had and whether I remembered them.
One suggestion on the dreams or lack there of - try setting your alarm for 30 minutes before you actually need to wake up. Then after waking up, reset it for another 30 minutes and try and go back to sleep. I find that I have a lot of dreams that I can remember during that light sleep area that occurs between being awake and deep sleep. That might show you that you actually are having dreams. You just don't remember them.

Don worry so much about it because chances are you are dreaming you just don't know it. There are differant dream states, some people can start to dream before they are totally asleep and some can't until deep sleep and that is probably what you are doing. My husband said he doesn't dream either but I stay up late so I am the lucky one LOL that getts to see him dream, or hear him and when I tell him the next day he doeswn't beleive me because he doesn't remember it. There are parts of the brain that do not rest or sleep at night and one part is the part that dreams. So don't worry so much or stress out about it it is totallty normal if you can't remember, just mean you sleep deeper than most.

You are dreaming, everybody dreams. You just don't remember your dreams when you awaken.
Getting plenty of sleep is the first step to good dream recall. If you are rested it will be easier to focus on your goal of recalling dreams, and you won't mind so much taking the time during the night to record your dreams. Another benefit of getting plenty of sleep is that dream periods get longer and closer together as the night proceeds. The first dream of the night is the shortest, perhaps 10 minutes in length, while after 8 hours of sleep, dream periods can be 45 minutes to an hour long. We all dream every night, about one dream period every 90 minutes. People who say they never dream simply never remember their dreams. You may have more than one dream during a REM (dream) period, separated by short arousals that are most often forgotten. It is generally accepted among sleep researchers that dreams are not recalled unless the sleeper awakens directly from the dream, rather than after going on to other stages of sleep.
Possibly, all you will need to do to increase your dream recall is to remind yourself as you are falling asleep that you wish to awaken fully from your dreams and remember them. This works in a similar manner to remembering to awaken at a certain time in the morning. Additionally, it may help to tell yourself you will have interesting, meaningful dreams. A major cause of dream forgetting is interference from other thoughts competing for your attention.

Maybe your body is tired and not getting enought sleep.
Most people I talk to dream a few times a week and you
could just forget the dreams. Try when you wake up to sense
if you have dreamed.Stretch a little before you bounce out of bed.

You still dream. You just don't remember it.
If you want to remember it, as soon as you wake up, don't move. Stay in the position you are in and try to remember dreams you had. It may not come the first few times, but if you keep trying, you will remember.

you do dream, you just don't remember. As to why, maybe it is the stress levels. are you REALLY tired when you go to bed? that could be the problem. Your mind may be preoccupied with other things you keep thinking about.
