Well while mentos and diet coke is a dire and dastardly chemical warfare tactic, I would have to go with biological weapons. With nukes everything gets sort of flattened and irradiated, and you have illness and birth defects for a while, but with biological weapons the death is slow, and it's more or less unstoppable, and carries the possibility of creating super bugs. It also leaves all your infrastructure in tact so the enemy can use it.
