It's not a sexual fetish in the traditional terms, but I am obsessed with long hair. I see girls with long hair and I have to stare. I also really like it when people touch and play with my long hair... especially when my boyfriend brushes and braids it. It feels so good... makes me understand why kitties purr.

Clinically speaking a sexual fetish refers to an inanimate object which must be present for the fetishist to become aroused and/or reach sexual climax. It is believed that only men have sexual fetishes.
Many people mistakenly refer to "fetishes" involving parts of the body, breast fetish, foot fetish, etc. In reality there are no such fetishes as fetish, in the sexual sense refers to an inanimate object. A fixation on a body part is actually called a partialism.
There is also a a kink movement called fetishism which involves mainly dressing sexy for sex. This is where you see the leather, vinyl, latex, and rubber clothes, big badgirl boots and high heels as well as schoolgirl uniforms, military, nurse, pretty much any kind of uniforms. This form of fetishism is often confused with BDSM (Bondage and Disciple, Sadism and Masochism) and in some cases does overlap, especially with Bondage and Discipline which often involves roleplay. Roleplay works better with costumes. Also S&Mers like the same clothes that the fetishists use. As an S&M enthusiast once commented to me at a kinky party," The fetishists look like we do, only more so. They look really wicked, but underneath they are quite tame. We are the really wicked ones!" People who are into the Fetish movement or scene do not necessarily have real clinical fetishes, they just like to dress for pleasure.
Here are some definitions from a Dictionary of Sexology
fetish: 1. an object of special devotion to which mystical power may be attributed. 2. an object or charm endowed with magical or supernatural power; an object or part of the body charged, for a particular person, with special sexuoerotic power [from Latin, facticius, artificial]. fetishism: a paraphilia of the fetishistic/talismanic type in which sexuoerotic arousal and facilitation or attainment of orgasm are responsive to, and contingent on a particular talisman or fetish object, substance, or part of the body belonging to the partner. There is no technical term for the reciprocal paraphilic condition in which the fetish, for example; a uniform, must belong to the self. 2. the condition in which a person is dependent on a talisman or fetish object, substance or part of the body in order to obtain erotic arousal and facilitate or achieve orgasm. fetishistic/talismanic paraphilia: one of a group of paraphilias characterized by triumph wrested developmentally from sexuoerotic tragedy by means of a strategy that incorporates sinful lust into the lovemap on the condition that a token, fetish, or talisman be substituted for the lover, since lust irrevocably defiles saintly love.
What about me? I Like breasts, legs, lips, feet, women's boots and high heels, lingerie, leather clothes on women. I like lots of "naughty" stuff, but none of it is really fetishistic or even partialistic for me.
