I don't know if it was just a slip or if the local affiliate censored something, because they do that from time to time by just inserting a commercial. I was just curious what happend after James said the OJ comment, if anything.

Maybe OJ is becoming a sideline commentator on NBC's Sunday Night coverage and they went to the commercial to remind James Woods of that information.
NBC can say that 11 years have passed since his murder acquittal and focus groups have forgotten about OJ and his alleged deeds.
All of the above is an educated guess on my part.
