Is this really your question? If so, Who cares if you are goth? What does that mean to you? Are you trying to label yourself? What's wrong with Goth? Be whatever you want - everyday you can be something different - then no one can ever label you. Or beat them to the punch. Tell em on a t-shirt. Today is Monday - I am Goth. Today is Thursday - I'm a Geek. Whatever. Be You.

wear normal cloths, no freakin black t shirts. Wear kinda tight pants, kinda flare or else youll be a looser. Dont dye your hair ugly colors like blue purple red. That is for freakin rockers. Dont ware stupid white make up or your a freak. No chains that is not cool. No dog collers or spike braclets. Just dont waer black. Go to walmart and but some colorful close there, and make it allittle tight or else your a nerd. I knw this stuff, cuz I am very observant of people. LOL good luck and transform your self.

Make your hair blond. Wear little, if any, make-up. If you DO wear make-up, avoid black eyeliner, etc.
Dress in feminine pastels - "girly" floral prints should do the trick! Wear skirts & dresses. Again, no black. Choose "preppy" styles.
Listen to lightweight "pop" music; nothing heavy or controversial. It shouldn't be too difficult to shake that "image" - just change your overall STYLE!

Sounds like you have a bunch of idiots at your school . You must live in Orange County Ca , were being different is like being a satan worshiper . Don't worry about those nim rods and be your self .

people are sooooo judgmental these days!! my freshmen year i went to walmart and i was wearing black dickies and a black sweater and sum guy asked me if i was gothic!!!
i guess just by the way you dress people assume that u are gothic

Try to find out what makes them think that. If you wear all black, that might skew their image of you, and kinda scare them off. Find out what it is and explain it to them.
