If he will take care of business before he gets down to business, it might lend some staying power. A condom might also dull the sensation a bit & allow him to last longer.

Tell your "friend" its ok to post his own questions. LOL

Premature ejaculation can be cured with natural methods. One really good one you can follow is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=565

When a man is suffering from premature ejaculation, he is often climaxing before his partner and in the case of most men it is difficult if not impossible for them to continue intercourse after ejaculating. That’s because chemicals are released when a man ejaculates and these are the same chemicals that make a person feel sleepy and/or not aroused. It’s not that they have suddenly lost interest; just their brain is telling them that the sex is over. This effect is more prominent after intercourse than after masturbation because intercourse actually causes four times more of these chemicals to be released. If premature ejaculation occurs frequently, it can lead to embarrassment for the man and sexual frustration for both partners.
Hope it helps.

Three suggestions.
1-have his prostate looked at-checked out.
2-there is a exercise he can to, woman also can to this. It's called the "Kegel exercise"..where you squeeze and hold your muscles around the meatus (pee-hole) and hold for five seconds and release. Repeat 10x. It strengthens the muscles all down there and may help in cases such as this.
3-he could be just going through "mental" changes and needs time to. A break up/divorce, etc in allot to go through for anyone. That would effect the psychic status. In time, he may need to see a shrink?
Hope this helps..

he should do nothing at all. He is normal - when you come - you come - It's over and done with. he must not blame himself.

Jerking off before intercourse sometimes helps delay the next orgasm. Opiates can slow it down a lot (codeine, Demerol, etc.etc.) Valium & other tranquilizers can help a bit , too.

Your friend sounds perfectly normal to me - tell him stop feeling bad. His body is functioning like God designed it to - pure & simple.

Lack of sex = no stamina = premature ejaculation. Not around it enough to control the pleasure sensors.

Could be stress, medicines being taken, even some vitamins can cause problems down in man land.

They make condoms with a desensitizing gel in them, Trojan or Durex, called "Extended Pleasure", I think. But they're almost too much, you sometimes can't get off at all.
