house. The are so annoying I can't sleep!! I don't want to kill them because i think that is bad luck and besides they are hiding. My house is clean and I live In a nice neighborhood, I not sure how or why we have them and so many but I need a solution fast!! Any Ideas, serious ones!!

my girlfriend has two cats that love to hunt bugs. they'd do the job. so would a snake, lizard, etc. maybe a pet that would fit your life style?

I have several crickets in my home, but not an infestation which bothers me. I believe they are supposed to signify good luck for the home. I think they eat the bugs that you wouldn't want in a home. I don't think their presence has anything to do with the cleanliness or location of your home. It is summertime and I always feel a certain amount of "creatures" will accidentally get in ...especially if it is on a first floor and easily accessible. They provide food for certain predators such as lizards, snakes and birds. I usually just place a jar or pill bottle over it till it jumps , slide a piece of cardboard underneath, then take it outside. An exterminator would kill them, but perhaps you could find something on one of the websites to catch them all at once. My method is slow, but I don't have that many. Good luck.

Insecticide is the only way I've ever heard of...and we have lots of the buggers here in AR...no one I've ever talked to knows of another way. Sorry.
