Recently I've been a little worried about my 19 year old daughter. It seems like every night she is with another guy and has suddenly come into money although she hasn’t got a job. Last night I confronted her and she said she was a hooker and walked out. I’m shocked she’s a hooker as I didn’t even know she liked rugby. I’m guessing this explains the guys as they must be her team mates although they seem to have a big squad. She must be getting paid to play and that’s where the money is coming from. I’m proud of her as I know the hooker is an important part of a rugby team but I’m a little worried that it could be too rough and she may get hurt. Also like I say these guys she’s always with must be her team mates but surely it is dangerous to have a unisex rugby team? Do you think I should try to persuade her to give this up or should I encourage her?

I had an answer written here last night. But I guess i was tired and could not see through it. When I checked my Q&A this morning I revisited your question.

I think it's brilliant! I copied it and will bring to work today and pretend my sister sent me this. I have a few colorful characters at work who will go wild on this one.

Can't wait thanks.

No no no baby...now listen to me closely.
Your daughter is NOT on a Rugby team.
These guys are NOT her team mates.
She is NOT getting paid to play sports.
She told you she was a hooker, right?
Your daughter is RUG MAKER...
not a RUGBY PLAYER...
Now calm down...it's all right.
And support her. It's an honest profession!

Definatly encourage her. Sports are fun. Especially for girls, it boosts there body image. It will also give her a higher self-esteem to play with all those boys. Not to mention all that physical activity, it will definatly help to reduce stress. :)

umm well- depending on your relationship...

get her out of that scene while there is still hope. It can easily lead to so much more. She is still young and there is still hope.

Why would you even think of encouraging it. You wouldn't mind you daughter being a hooker? what the hell man

what team is so on? is she aval for anyone? what are her working hours? how much and for what. can you send me a pic?
can i do it in your bed?

LOL, important part of the rugby team!

Anywho, are you sure she wasn't kidding around or using it in a sarcastic fashion?

If she is serious, do not support her in her current path. Teach her values that she seems to lack.

Good luck!
