When I prepared for backflips, I always did a couple of bridges beforehand. This way, I was sure my back is warmed up.

For ariels, I did cartwheels, and then one-handed cartwheel, and then ariels. Once you get the feel that you don't rely on that one hand all that much, you're ready for ariels.

always stretch, if you are new to backflips and arials always have a spotter!!, ARIALS: put all the power that you can muster into the frontal leg stepping in to the jump that will power your arial, jump up and then starting flipping side ways as opposed to just diving in to the arial position. i don't know much about back flips... look it up on the web maybe?

I can't help with back flips. For arials in a circle, a water bottle in the middle of the circle helps spotting (keep your left eye on the bottle when travelling counter clockwise).

Just make sure you are stretching to prevent pulled muscles, which you will probably get anyway. There is really no way to just be able to do them like *THAT*! but you just remember.

Back: Arms up, back, tuck tummy to chest, back, with arms pulled in to get the force, and landing. Stick it.

Aerials: Just ano handed cartwheel. You'll get it over time. Hard to explain online, but just get the right movement fast. Have your teacher or a professional show you the right way. I hope you are not doing this on your own/teaching yourself. Bad thing to do
