Can this be explained by expert in simple way applying Theory of Relativity?

I'm always amused when people dogmatically state that the theory of relativity has "proven" we can't go faster than the speed of light, or that we can't travel in time. What's particularly funny is that they ignore the fact that even Einstein didn't discount the possibility.

We are just beginning to understand this universe we live in. Way too early to edit our thinking based on our limited experience. I'm agnostic about this question... maybe.

Also worth recognizing that the theory of relativity is a "classical theory" built on the past... there are some new ideas out there.

Dream on. You might be right.

as per Theory of relativity, it is not possible to go in future. But to go in past is possible but theoritically only and only if it is possible to travel at speed of light. Theory of relativity is based on assumption that nothing can travel at speed more than that of light.
Expalnation of going into past is simple. Say an event is happened then light will carry information about this event. So if one start travelling at speed more than light , that signal can be recieved and you can see past. You cannot change it.
Theroy of relativity also states that for anything travelling at speed of light, time is standstill.

If man can travel the speed of light then getting hit by a speck of dust would be fatal. I doubt it can happen unless we can get rid of this flesh and blood exterior and beam our minds into plasma energy or something that can go that fast. Maybe someone will invent a machine that can do it, but I don't think humans themselves could ever travel that fast without vaporizing in thin air.

The theory of relativity shows that travel at or faster than the speed of light is not possible.

first you can't travel faster than light (E=mc^2)

but you can travel faster though time if you are in motion. at everyday speeds this is not noticeable. but at speeds that are extreamly fast, like 1/2 the speed of light it would be very noticeable. The theory of relativity states that all objects not in relative motion are traveling though time at the speed of light. thats how you normally experiance time. If you are moving say half the speed of light your time speed is decreased by alot. others would see you moving very slowly, but to you, they would all moving very fast. hence the faster time travel.

Oh and if one could go faster than light, that would be how you would travel backwards in time, but like I said, traveling faster than light is impossible. Not practically impossible, totaly impossible

The idea of time traval based on your volocity is based on Einstines theory of relativity. From what I can gather it is total bunk.

Time travel is gotal bunk but I still enjoy Back To the Future and all the other time travel movies.

Check out Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. SERIOUSLY! It describes in full detail the theory of Time-warp and yes scientist have been using this for a basic in their theories. Check it out.

It can't be done because it takes infinite energy to achieve the speed of light therefore to exceed you must have more than infinite energy which is impossible.
