Do you believe that some people are really unlucky?

Some studies show that people who hold negative thoughts attract similar people and are also more likely to see themselves as victims. Alternatively, one may take responsibility for situations, good or bad, and feel empowered by discovering or creating opportunities to either change the situation, or change how they feel about it.

You actually can choose to focus on the good, it is sort of a broadcastable wave of good attitude that is self perpetuating. Even when bad things happen, there is usually a good or possitive side to things. Yes, somepeople are lucky and most are unlucky but it is a psychology of luck is real. I am considered consistantly extremely lucky. Also, wanting to help people and solve problems is in the same objectives as most of the religions ideas of angels, so you are sort of in league with Karma, angels, or high intensions of most religions, so that is a perpetuating attitude of goodness.

Bad things will happen as long as we are imperfect. Some may seem as you term it "unlucky" because they put themselves in certain situations or they may just be naturally clumsy or don't pay attention to warnings.

You can prevent a WHOLE LOT by following the rules.

All decisions have consequences.
Some consequences don't happen right away, they may even effect the rest of your life, sometimes it may take many years before you even realise what the results of your decion is.
Sooooo.....
make wise decisions.
You can do that by learning from the experiences of others.
Finally show me your friends and I will know all about you, in other words pick your friends (and mentor models) very carefully.

I think some people make decisions in their life that are unwise and by virtue of cause and effect bad things happen in their life. I think some people are born into situations (like poverty) that are almost impossible to extract one's self from. But I don't think luck plays any role whatsoever. What doesn't result from one's own choices results from chance - and chance and luck are entirely separate characters.

Girl, it's so very evident that you can't turn to God. You need to learn to do that. That's what's wrong.
