I am giving away small pots (2") with a packet of seeds for wedding favors. What kind of seeds should I be buying?

I really don't think many people will actually go get potting soil , plant the seeds in a 2" pot and nurture it to maturity. I suggest you get seeds for a flower, or flowering plant that has the color of your wedding on the packet picture.

I think seeds for herbs...seems like they would have some good luck significance though I can't remember where I read that! But herbs grow fast and are easy to grow. Herbs provide a nice aroma, garnish for food, and look really homey growing on a windowsill..Good luck.

Strawberry plants are nice - we grew some in pots this summer.

What a cute idea!! I love it. And I think the people that have suggested herbs are on to something. I'd love to grow herbs! I like that idea.

Mini plants ;)

Really though, pretty much anything as I understand it, until it outgrows the pot.
