I usually shower in the morning with gel, but if I'm feeling stinky I'll have one in the evening too.
Sometimes if its cold or I'm stressed or want to relax or I'm aching from exercise, I'll have a bath with salts. (I'll briefly shower before and after to avoid stewing in my own grime)

shower night with gel.
I still feel dirty when I take a bath and if I have one to soak I still shower off afterwards. At night because I don't use powder so getting dressed in the morning after a shower I don't feel like fighting to get my clothes on, at night I shower, dry off put on my pj's, no fighting to get them on nicely, then climb into bed. I sleep better after having a nice warm shower and I go to sleep clean. I use gel because I have noticed that no matter how much moisturizer a bar soap has it still feels like my skin is getting dried out. I will shower in the morning if I have something important I have to go for, especially if I didn't have time or was too tired to shower the night before. You don't even want to know how long I went without a shower after my son was born. it just seemed like I had no energy or time to take a shower even when my hubby was home.

I live in Japan where communal bathing is an art form. It involves a shower (sitting down on a wooden stool,) with lots of bath gels, scrubs, hair treatments and delicious things, followed by long soaks (up to two hours) in a variety of tubs. Some tubs have jets, some have aromatherapy oils, some are cold (16 degrees C) some are hot (45 C) and some are outside! So in winter, you can reach outside the bath and touch the snow. I know when I return to my home country I will miss the public baths sorely!

Shower every morning; bath at night if I need to relax.
Shower gel in the shower; soap for the baths.

No time for bath, jump in the shower and go! Soap for the mornings, shower gel for the evening (yes I do both).

A shower washes the dirt off you but with a bath you soak in the dirty water , unless you are Japanese and then you dont soakl in the bath until you have washed yourself.
I like gels better, dont know why, just do.
I always shower both in the morning and before I go to bed, must smell nice for my wife

Shower; otherwise you are just stewing in your own filth. Morning, then night with the kids. Soap; never feel quite clean enough w/ gel.
